Miss Nelson is Missing is over

We finished with Miss Nelson is Missing and we had our cast party where we watched a video of our show which was fun and I have personally never done. I loved working with this cast and crew and it was nice to move away from my usual high school plays. I also came into this play not having to deal with getting the set itself assembled and getting all the props. The cast were in total much more appreciative and much easier to work with in comparison to high schoolers and I also find that these teachers are so much fun.

Finished my squat cycle

I haven’t been able to do a lot of crossfit over the last few weeks because of all the activities I am doing after school but I still go over the weekends and try to make it during the week.I just finished a squat cycle called the Russian Squats which is a 6 week 3 times a week training. I do this so that 1 I feel more of an obligation to go 2. I don’t have to do more that squats if I really don’t want to or don’t have time and lastly I get to improve on something that I love. A few weeks ago when I was deciding on my 1 rep max I dropped (didn’t make) 60 kgs and today I did 2 sets of 2 reps at 60 kgs and celebrated by also doing a class. I am happy to be back and working towards getting in more classes during the week. I am also getting ready to start another squat cycle.

Artsco planning

We are trying to plan a few things that we can do this coming semester such as an art week/spirit week type thing or a way to really show art and make it more of a praising artists from ISK whom are not as well known. We have also been asked to help with gathering people for the round square event where they want some entertainment.

Acting in Cyrano De Bergerac

We have only just started the process of rehearsals.We have done the casting and I am excited to get to act for the first time in years but I am worried about wanting to go back to backstage or attempting to take over later in the process. I am friend with the girl who is the current stage manager and she has asked me to help her out which I am hoping will be enough for me. I love this play and it is and has been for a while my favorite book/script and so I am quite worried that our production won’t do it justice and it will ruin the play for me. I had a similar fear with Les Miserables but we were more forgiven because of the release of the movie version which didn’t hold up.
