Final play

The final play went so well. I was very happy. The audience really appreciated our hard work and it feels good that our final performance was such a success. As much as I enjoyed doing the play it was hard work doing 2  1 hour plays back to back. The space we were using was very different from all the performances I have ever done. We preformed in the dinning hall were the audience was all around us. And the whole cast got really stressed when our director said we were doing the second performance with candle light creating a more dangerous environment.

The tragedy of Richard II

Through out the oxbridge program there were many options to try something new. One of the many things that were available was going to multiple Shakespeare plays. This included The Tragedy of King Richard 2, Midsummer Nights Dream, and As You Like It. I personally went to all of them and i really enjoyed all the comedies but not really Richard the 2nd.

Festival of love

On the trip to London the Drama major teamed up with the English Literature. Since us in the Drama class were performing Shakespeare while those in the English Literature were reading his work, we decided to go and enjoy the globe all together. On our way we Visited the festival of Love. It was a festival to both celebrate Love and to remember. There was many different sections such as heartbreak hotel, The tunnel of love and the things I wish I knew when I was 15. I must say it was interesting and our teacher/ director asked us to try to look at all of the relationships and the different types of love portrayed in the play we were doing. In my opinion this really helped my  acting.

Cambridge start

It's been a few couple of very busy days. First I went to Aldeburgh with my godmother. I stayed with her for a few days, volunteering in the Life boat shop and biking and relaxing. Then she took me to Cambridge to sign in to my Drama course. I was a bit nervous, but soon met lots of nice teenagers from all over the world.

Modern Museum in Stockholm

Today I visited the Modern Museum. They had an exhibition by Dardel (a Swedish artist who studied with Matisse in France), that I didn't think it was very interesting, but I love their fixed exhibition. I especially liked watching the Chaplin movies.
