Result from fundraising
Here are some images from what we managed to buy from the donations we got from Sweden. It was quite a lot of money that we gave to Destiny school in Mathare in December, so I'm happy to see that they came to good use. I've also raised more money for building more desks (about 30) and buying more chairs for baby classes. Even with the donation in December, they could not get all they needed. The new desks are now under construction and I'm planning to go to school when they are done to take photos.

Security meeting in Swedish school
Yesterday, I spent all day in the Swedish school. There was a security information meeting and the guys that saved us from Westgate were the ones doing the presentation. It was great to meet Inayat, who we were crawling to on the ramp. We thanked him and we also had a long talk. He turned out to be a very funny guy and we had a very relaxed conversation. I also helped moving tables and chairs as well as setting up the drink table. It was a nice afternoon and I learned a lot from the meeting.

Tae kwondo tournament
To be allowed to grade to 2:nd dan black belt, I had to do a Taekwondo tournament. It takes a whole day and there is a lot of waiting around. It's usually hard for me to find opponents and it seems like all the fighters are very small or adults. I'm not allowed to fight with boys, so it is a bit challenging. They go both by height, weight and age. Today there were quite a few opponents and I won the first three fights. The fight for the gold medal, I lost but I also earned a silver for the poomse competition. Max was really busy, so all of a sudden he told me to be the captain of the team. I helped and coached the smaller kids during their fights and that was a great experience. I also med Max coach and he wanted to come over to my house and give me some more tips, this is going to e a lot of fun.
I'm proud of myself for earning two silver medals, without much practical experience.

International day
My friend also gave me a very cool make up with the Swedish flag on my eyelids.
After the parade we had food from every part of the world.

Performances
Finally, the performance days came! It was quite stressful and I was a bit nervous but I have to say it went really well. Everyone worked together and I think there were only minor mistakes and the whole crew were happy with the performance.

Working out in the gym
Because of my rehearsal schedule over the next two weeks, I will have problems to fit in my training. Now I have to take every opportunity to train. We have a gym in our house that I sometimes spend time in and this weekend I took time to use it. I'm trying to fit in at least three exercise sessions in the coming week.

Poster for the play
We are getting closer to the premiere! I have quite a few roles and the make up and wardorbe is taking a long time. I'm starting to get a bit nervous, even though rehearsals is going well. Today we were in school all day.
