My diploma

I'm framing this! Now I'm only waiting for my black belt with my name in golden letters on it.

SUCCESS!!

I made black belt in Taekwondo!! It was really, really hard! First I did a fitness section with pushups, jumping up, clapping and down to a pushup again. I did jogging and all sorts of exercises to check my stamina. After that I did all the kicks, and sparred with the examinator. That was tough and I got a few kicks, but it was still a lot of fun. Finally I did the Poomses and the examinator tested me about my knowledge in Korean and about North and South Korea. We ended the examination with a bit more sparring and some self defence.
I got a very nice diploma and a card saying I'm a registered black belt in the World Taekwondo Federation.
You can not believe how tired, happy and proud I am right now!

New creativity project

Today I learned how to knit. My mother is knitting a lot and I've wanted to learn for some time. She thinks it's very relaxing and you can do it while watching TV. Mom is knitting great things and I want to knit sweaters as complicated as hers. Right now she thinks it's best if I start with a scarf. This is wat I want to knit:
Or maybe this:

Lots of improvements

Today I went to visit the school in Mathare. Big improvements on the buildings! I feel proud that I helped to make that possible. It looks like a real school now, even though the walls are iron sheets. The kids were great and followed me around. They wanted to touch my hair and skin and hold my hand. We have to new sponsors for two girls who are top students. They are going to secondary school soon. Reverend George seemed very happy to show off the school and we are planning to buy more rooms as well as growing vegetables in bags and buying chickens. This way we might provide food for the students.
