Wednesday in my house!

This shows what I learned in MMA over the holidays. I feel like I'm improving a lot! Tom gives me a lot of feed back and think both my stamina and power has become a lot better. This will be really good for my Taekwondo grading. I need to start studying my Korean befor the grading as well. The examinator is going to quizz me on all the taekwondo words in my grading.

Black belt soon...

I Have not practiced my poomses over the christmas holiday! I've been focusing a lot on MMA and feel a bit discouraged that I haven't done my real homework. On Sunday we started to get into the poomse practice, and I almost forgot the ones I used to know really well. I have a DVD with a little Korean man, and he can show me when I'm not training with Max, but I haven't been looking at him. I also need to improve my stamina to make my black belt test, but that was taken care of by doing MMA.
My mother promised me to do the poomses every day with me, and I really have to start to learn number 6-8 and perfecting 1-5. I'll start right away.

Raising money for Excellent and helping Oakland

The christmas drive was very successful! I managed to raise about 100 000 Kes toghether with my brother, by giving money to the school as christmas gifts and selling christmas cards to friends in Sweden. I also got money from my grandmother to give to the school.
During the holidays, I also cleaned out my room and found lots of old things, like sport things and many books, that I gave to Max and Mercy. They need it for their new primary school in Rongai. Mercy promised me that I could come to the school and help teach the children and that I could do a sleep-over and help to deliver all the children to their parents. I would really, really enjoy that! Mercy told me, that it would be good for them to have a white girl helping out. It gives the school status. This is very strange to me, but if I can help them with both the color of my skin and practically, I would be happy to do it!
